Uganda PB (Peaberry) arabica coffee, a specialty grade, features small, round, single beans formed when only one seed develops inside the cherry. Sourced from SL14, SL28, and Bugisu varietals grown at 1,200-2,000m in volcanic regions like Mount Elgon and Rwenzori, these beans (screen size ~6 mm) undergo washed processing—depulping, 12-36 hour fermentation, and sun-drying. The cup offers vibrant acidity, with concentrated notes of citrus, red berry, and chocolate, a dense medium body, and a sweet, lingering finish. Scoring 85+ SCA, Uganda PB excels in pour-over or espresso, showcasing a premium, complex taste of Uganda’s coffee heritage.
