Kenya AB coffee, graded screen 15/16, combines slightly smaller beans (15/64 to 16/64 inches, ~6 mm) than top-tier AA, blending A and B grades for a balanced, high-quality arabica. Grown in Kenya’s volcanic highlands (1,500-2,000m) on SL28/SL34 varietals, it thrives in rich soils with bimodal rainfall. Washed processing—depulping, 12-36 hour fermentation, and sun-drying on raised beds—ensures a clean, vibrant cup. Expect bright acidity with blackcurrant, citrus, and berry notes, a medium body, and hints of jasmine or black tea. Scoring 84-86 SCA, it’s ideal for pour-over or espresso, offering Kenya’s signature zest at a more accessible price.
